2008 History
Ossa Swimming Carnival and State carnival Our children attending the OSSA swimming canival at Orange. Although we had no individual winners on the day, our P6 relay team of Paris Brittany Brooke & Sam won and were off to the Western Carnival at Dubbo. There they swam a mighty race to come 3rd. It was so exciting that even the mums were crying (Jodie) not mentioning any names..... STATE here we come. So we made the trek to Sydney and although we didn't make the finals, the girls swam well and placed 7th in their heat. Well done girls...
Sarah is in the OSSA Netball once again. The girls lost their game against Bathurst however it was a great effort by all in the team. What a great day!. The Infants had a ball at their carnival playing loads of interactive games as well as races. The primary children all did well with some fantastic personal bests. The P6 relay team are off to Western carnival at Dubbo in September.
Cargo stage 2/3 girls had a friendly game of netball against Bowen PS girls in Orange on Tuesday 23.6.09. The girls performed extremely well winning the game 19-15. It was very close and their were lots of cheerinf from the crowd. Thanks to Miss Longhurst for coaching and taking the girls on this inter school sports game.
OSSA Team Sports Paris & Brittany will be playing the first soccer game against Millthorpe on the 7th July 2009. Good luck girls
We had a great day out at Cudal, all children ran well but unfortunately no district runners this year.
